The much awaited Adam A. Zango’s Hausa movie ‘The return of Gwaska’ is slated to hit the cinemas January 1st 2018.

During the movie’s premier at Ado Bayero Mall in Kano, producer of the movie who also directed it Adam A. Zango revealed that, the return of Gwaska differs from the rest of Gwaska series already produced as the character of the movie poses a new role in return of Gwaska.

He added, that the movie though a fantasy is aimed to address corruption and other social vices.

Zango added that, the aim of the premiere is to allow for stakeholders in the movie making business to have a preview of the movie for possible corrections before the movie hits the public domain.

He further stated that, though producing the movie cost much more than the previous ones; its target is to win an award and not profit.

“The return of Gwaska unlike the previous once is being produced within 8 months and up till this moment of its premiere; we are still working on it. It is a movie that may not necessary fetch us much in terms of profit, but I believe it will fetch us awards as the movie though a fantasy, will address a lot of social issues,” said Zango.

The movie ‘return of Gwaska’ is a story of a freedom fighter whose sole aim in life is to provide protection to the less privileged and the vulnerable.

The movie featured Kannywood stars like, Adam A. Zango, Bello Muhammad Bello, Lilisco among others.
