The one chance epidemic in Abuja

The security situation in Abuja has reached alarming heights. If it’s not a car theft, its kidnapping or the most rampant of all, ‘One chance robbery’. This particular evil has grown to epidemic proportions in Abuja. There are certain black spots where these robberies take place in Abuja such as the Kubwa Expressway, AYA Roundabout, Area One, Nnamdi Azikiwe Expressway and Gwagwalada.

Abuja has become a place where you develop anxiety and panic attacks whenever you’re about to step out of your house. The police need to rework their operational strategies to manage the security in the FCT as its deteriorating at such a rapid rate. Also, the federal government needs to something about the unemployment rate in the country. There is a large number of unemployed.

Youths in Abuja and the joblessness is leading them to turn to crimes.
