THE LAST GOOD BOOK I READ… Nneka Chima (Artist) Homegoing by Yaa Gyasi

Artist Nneka Chima said her last good read is Yaa Gyasi’s ‘Homegoing.’ “I have read a lot of great books but earlier this year this novel truly inspired me,” she said. “It talked about times of sadness and hope which ended in joy as two sisters having different destinies eventually found each other.”

Chima is an artist who is into linocut printmaking. She was one of the 10 all-female artists who participated in the exhibition tagged ‘Through Her Eyes’ at Moeshen Art Gallery in Abuja in 2019.
