Investigations by Daily Trust has revealed that the Independent Corrupt Practices and other Related Offences Commission (ICPC) is enmeshed in a wide-scale certificate forgery and age falsification scandal, involving dozens staff.

Banditry: LG Chair Decries Overpopulation In Niger IDP Camps

The Chairman, Shiroro Local Government Area of Niger State, Alhaji Suleiman Dauda Chikuba, has decried overpopulation in various camps for internally displaced persons (IDPs) in his domain.

The chairman, who said 1,600 persons displaced by bandits were currently taking refuge at some selected camps, including Gwada and Kuta, the headquarters of Shiroro Local Government Area, added that many IDPs lived in rented apartments.

Bola Obasanjo, wife of former President Olusegun Obasanjo, on Sunday, admonished people living with diabetics to adhere religiously to the “dos and don’ts” of the ailment in order to stay alive.

She said Obasanjo who had lived with diabetics for about 40 years always abides strictly by the guidelines and urged the patients to do the same.
