The wife of Governor Abdullahi Ganduje of Kano State is currently in custody of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) following a petition on alleged fraud which her son wrote against her. She was arrested on Monday following her refusal to honour the agency’s invitation.

Suspected Boko Haram terrorists have infiltrated many communities in some local government areas of Niger State, Daily Trust reports.

They have reportedly directed residents to withdraw their children from schools. Residents expressed fears that the onslaught would escalate in the coming days if nothing is done.

EFCC Arrests Ganduje’s Wife

Hafsat Ganduje, First Lady of Kano State, has been arrested by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC).

Daily Trust understands that she was arrested based on a petition Abdulazeez, one of her sons, wrote against her.
