Terra Seasoning Cube, a food brand of TGI Group, has won the Outstanding Seasoning Cube Brand of the Year award at the National Quality Conference and Exhibition in Lagos.
According to a statement from Allied Integrated Promotions Management Limited, organisers of the event, the award was a result of a competitive public poll it conducted among seasoning consumers across Nigeria, who chose Terra for taste and flavour.
Daily Trust reports that the product has been in the Nigerian market for only four years. Tropical General Investments (TGI) is the manufacturer of the local rice brand, Big Bull.
Commenting, the Group Executive Director – TGI, Deepanjan Roy, acknowledged the award, noting that the company has continued to deliver on quality.

“We are truly humbled by this award.
“For us at TGI Group, it is a privilege not just to maintain the quality that has made Terra Seasoning Cube the number one choice of consumers in 2022, but to work harder to ensure we maintain the quality and standard that would continually make the brand the first choice of consumers,” Roy said.
Also speaking, Probal Bhattacharya, Chief Marketing Officer, TGI Group, expressed delight over the brand’s preference.
“We do not take this award for granted,” he said.
“The award is just an assurance to us that we are on the right track to achieve the objective of providing consumers a seasoning that adds quality and value to their lives.”
