The former Executive Secretary of the Tertiary Education Trust Fund (Tetfund) Dr Abdullahi Bichi Baffa, who was sacked on Monday is yet to hand over to his successor, Prof Suleiman Elias Bogoro.
Baffa was unavailable for comment even as information emerged yesterday that he may face EFCC questioning over sundry fraud allegations.
Prof Bogoro was reinstated by the federal government to his position.
He was removed in 2016, half way into his four year tenure and replaced by Baffa.
A source that does not want to be identified said that Baffa was supposed to hand over 72 hours after being replaced but that was yet to happen.
According to the source, it now remains unclear when it would be done.
Prof Bogoro however assumed office immediately and addressed management staff on Monday, Daily Trust learnt.
The situation in TetFund has eased a bit since Bogoro resumed. He was said to have addressed several pending issues including intermediate staff applications for housing advance and overdue promotion cases.
