Teslim congratulates Makinde in Oyo

The governorship candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Saturday’s governorship election in Oyo State, Teslim Folarin, has congratulated the candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) and incumbent governor of the state, Seyi Makinde, on his victory.

According to the results announced by the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC), Governor Makinde scored 563,756 votes to clinch victory over Teslim Folarin of APC who came second with 256,685 votes.

In his congratulatory message on Monday, Folarin said, “To whom much is given, much is expected. It is on this note that I am offering my solemn gratitude to leaders and members of our great party, the APC; the coalition parties, candidates of other political parties that worked for us, volunteers, the press as well as individuals that contributed to the Itesiwaju Ipinle Oyo 2023 project.
