Tertiary institutions reopen January 18

The Plateau State Government says tertiary institutions will now resume on January 18 as against the January 4 date earlier announced.

The Commissioner for Higher Education, Kakmena Audu, who disclosed this in Jos Saturday, said the government shifted the resumption date due to the directive of the Presidential Task Force (PTF) on COVID-19.

Mr Audu directed all heads of tertiary institutions in the state to comply strictly with the directive and ensure that they adhere to the safety protocols.
