There was tension in Rumba-Gwari community in Abaji Area Council of the FCT after a herder cut off one farmer’s fingers.
A resident, Moses Isaac, said the incident happened on Saturday afternoon when the victim, Kefas Luka, went to his farm and saw cows eating his crops.

He said when the victim approached the herder of the cows to query him an argument ensued and that the herder cut off the farmer’s fingers with a cutlass.
He further said the victim was rushed to the University of Abuja Teaching Hospital (AUTH) in Gwagwalada, while the incident had been reported to the police in Abaji.
The spokesperson of the FCT Police Command, DSP Adeh Josephine, was yet to reply to an SMS sent to her on the incident.
