Tems achieves first Solo entry on Billboards Chart

Nigerian singer and songwriter, Temilade Openiyi popularly known as Tems, has achieved her first unaccompanied entry in the Billboards chart.

The international star has gained her first solo entry in the Americas Billboard Chart with her song, “Free Mind”, which was released on her debut EP “For Broken Ears” in 2020.

In the latest issue of the Billboard hot 100, ” Free Mind” came out as number 90 on the charts.

However, the sensational singer had been showing up on the Billboard charts with songs in which she got featured like WizKkd’s ‘Essence’, Drake’s “Fountain”,  and Future’s “Wait For You”.

The singer who has been enjoying international recognition recently learnt her voice on a song in the Black Panther 2 album Soundtrack after she gave a sonorous rendition of Bob Marley’s ” No Woman, No Cry” in the movie’s trailer.
