A Kaduna Chief Magistrates’ Court on Wednesday sentenced a teenager, David Jonah, for stealing a he-goat. The police charged Jonah with trespass and stealing.
The Magistrate, Ibrahim Emmanuel, sentenced Jonah after he pleaded guilty and begged the court for leniency.
He, however, gave the convict an option of N10,000 fine and warned him to desist from crime.
Earlier, the prosecutor, Insp Chidi Leo, told the court that one Samson John reported the matter at the station on Nov. 29.
