A 15-years-old boy, Yuguda Na-Mata, has been arraigned before a magistrates’ court sitting in Ilorin, Kwara State, for belonging to a gang of thieves.
According to the police report, the defendant was arrested upon intelligence that some hoodlums were attacking people and confiscating their belongings in Osi.

The accused was subsequently arrested inside a bush at Obbo-lle in Isapa area, Ekiti LGA by a combined team of vigilantes and the police, the charge sheet added.
The police further told the court that investigation carried out revealed that the defendant and others now at large belonged to a gang of thieves terrorising Obbo-lle and its environs.
In her ruling, the Magistrate, A.A Issa, ordered the defendant to be remanded at an appropriate facility and adjourned the case to June 15, 2022.
