A 19-year-old man, ThankGod Sunday, has been arraigned before an Ado-Ekiti Magistrates’ court over alleged breach of peace and stealing of a phone.
The police prosecutor, Inspector Olubu Apata, told the court that the defendant did conduct himself in a manner likely to cause breach of the peace and stealing one Samsung A10 phone valued at N35,000, property of one Azeez Funbi Precious.

Inspector Apata said the offence is punishable under Section 181(d), 302, 354 (8) of the Crim-inal Law of Ekiti State 2021.
Counsel to the defendant, Barrister Joseph Ogunsemi, urged the court to grant his client bail in liberal terms, promising that he would not jump bail.
The chief magistrate, Kehinde Awosika, granted bail of N50,000 and one surety to the de-fendant and adjourned the case to October 24.
