Tears flowed freely at the burial of the grandson of the late Premier of Northern Nigeria and the Magjin Garin Sokoto, Hassan Danbaba who died on Saturday in Kaduna.
The remains of Danbaba was brought to Sokoto by a Nigerian Air Force aircraft in the company of Governor Nasir El-rufa’i of Kaduna State, among others.

His body was then taken in an ambulance to his family’s residence at Binanchi in preparation for the final burial rites.
The Chief Imam of Sultan Bello Mosque, Sheikh Malami Affara, led the funeral prayer around 6 pm after which his body was buried at their family’s burial ground in Binanchi.
The burial was attended by Governor Aminu Waziri Tambuwal of Sokoto State, Governor Nasir Ahmed El-rufa’i of Kaduna State and Governor Atiku Bagudu of Kebbi State.
Other dignitaries at the burial include the Sultan of Sokoto, Muhammadu Sa’ad Abubakar II, former Governor of Sokoto State, Attahiru Dalhatu Bafarawa, among others.
Wamakko Morns late Danbaba
The chairman, Senate Committee on Defence, Senator Aliyu Magatakarda Wamakko, expressed shock over the demise of late Magjin Garin Sokoto.
Wamakko in a statement signed by his Media Aide, Hassan Sahabi Sanyinnawal, described the death as a great loss not only to members of his immediate family but to Nigeria in general.
He prayed Allah to grant him Jannatul Firdaus and grant his family the fortitude to bear this irreparable loss.
