TCN warns Kano consumers against illegal electricity connection

The Transmission Company of Nigeria (TCN), Kano Region, has warned electricity consumers against illegal connections.

Rather, they should liaise with the Distribution Company (DisCo) for proper connection.

The General Manager, Kano Region, Bashir Mohammed-Gote, gave the warning while speaking with the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) on Wednesday in Kano.

He said illegal connections to electricity were dangerous to users as it obstructed the lines most times.

“Therefore, customers should stop illegal connections, not because of them alone, but also for our equipment to last longer for the benefit of the consumers,’’ he said. (NAN)
