TCN boss awarded honorary doctorate degree

Abdulaziz, dedicated the award to the management and staff of TCN

The European American University, Commonwealth of Dominica has conferred on the acting Managing Director/CEO, Transmission Company of Nigeria (TCN), Engr. Sule Ahmed Abdulaziz, an Honorary Doctorate Degree of Science in Engineering and Project Management.

A statement by the General Manager, Public Affairs at TCN, Ndidi Mbah, said Engr. Abdulaziz, who is also the Chairman, Executive Board of the West African Power Pool (WAPP), got the conferment from the President of the university, Prof. John Kersey, represented by its International Partner, Dr. Luke Okojie, in Abuja at the weekend.

Okojie said the TCN helmsman was singled out for the prestigious award for his exemplary contributions to the Nigerian Electricity Supply Industry (NESI) and his role in WAPP.

Commenting, Abdulaziz, dedicated the award to the management and staff of TCN, noting that his contributions to NESI were made possible by his career in TCN and the collective support from all TCN staff.
