Engine and Transmission

Tata Nexon EV comes with two battery pack options. The first has a 30 kWh battery pack paired with an electric motor producing 129 bhp/215 Nm. The maximum range for this battery is thought to be 325 km.

The larger battery is 40.5 kWh packed with an electric motor generating 144 bhp/215 Nm. It delivers a 465 km range (maximum). Considering charging, the 15 A Portable Charger has a range of 10.5 hours (medium) and 15 hours (long).

The 7.2 kW AC fast charger is thought to have a capacity of 4.3 hours (at medium range) and six hours (at long range). The DC Fast Charger can charge up to 80 percent within 56 minutes.

On the other hand, Venue N Line has a 1-litre turbo-petrol engine (120 bhp/172 Nm). It is mated to a six-speed manual or a seven-speed DCT (dual-clutch automatic). The car has three driving modes: Sport, Normal, and Eco.

On-Road Prices of Nexon and Venue N-Line in Delhi

The entry-level variant of the Hyundai Venue N-Line is priced at Rs. 14.95 lakhs, while the top model carries a price tag of Rs. 15.95 lakhs (on-road price in Delhi). However, when considering the on-road prices in Delhi, which include registration charges and additional taxes, Venue N-Line’s petrol automatic variants come within a price range of Rs. 14.95 lakhs to Rs. 15.95 lakhs.

Without proper research about the key specs, you would not be able to understand the right car type. While both Nexon EV and Venue N-Line are budget-friendly SUVs, their fuel options are different.
