Authorities of the Tai Solarin University of Education, Ijagun, Ogun State, has suspended a lecturer, Dr Olaniran Balogun, who was declared wanted for alleged sex for marks.

The Independent Corrupt Practices and other Related Offences Commission (ICPC) had declared Balogun, the Head of Department (HOD) of Religious Studies, wanted for allegedly abusing his office and demanding gratification.

The deputy registrar, media and corporate relations of the institution, Gbenga Omilola, on Sunday said the management had placed Balogun on interdiction until he cleared himself of all allegations.

Omilola said the vice chancellor, Prof. Oluwole Banjo, had approved the appointment of Dr Kayode Olusanya as the new HOD to replace Balogun.
