This is a clarion call on eligible Nigerians to participate en masse in the upcoming Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC), Continuous Voters Registration (CVR) exercise.
It would be recalled that INEC recently announced June 28, for the commencement of the continuous voter’s registration for eligible Nigerians.

Since 1999 when the country returned to civil rule, there has been an appreciable level of democratic growth. The exercise will avail more citizens the opportunity to obtain a voter’s card, a prerequisite to voting during the election.
We can only deepen democracy in Nigeria through massive participation in the process. Therefore, there is the need for stakeholders to sensitise citizens who have attained 18 years and above to obtain their voter’s card with a view to electing leaders of their choice.
Besides, we wish to laud the efforts of government and non-governmental organisations as well as other critical stakeholders for their efforts to deepen civil rule in Nigeria.
Democracy has given the Nigerian people ample opportunities to make choices as to who governs them.
In this vein, “our best bet” is to consolidate on the aforementioned achievement.
We, however, wish to call on Nigerians, especially the youths, to eschew violence and other forms of unlawful behaviour. The President Muhammadu Buhari government’s numerous policies to give the citizens a new lease of life can be better felt in an atmosphere of peace.
