The political arena in Nigeria is gradually becoming interesting and vibrant as preparation for the 2023 general election is in top gear.
It has become imperative to advise the electorate not to allow the politicians to pump their heads like a hot air balloon with empty promises that will never see the light of the day.

The electorate must not be carried away by the wind of political party or ethnicity, tribalism and nepotism, because Nigeria is a multi-ethnic, multi-tribal, multi-regional and multi-eligious country.
Don’t be deceived by self-painted manifestations of the various parties being showcased rather than the personality of the individual they present, the ideology they preach and the capability of their aspirants. Don’t engage yourself in vote buying, which has eaten deep into the country’s democratic bone marrow.
Nigeria is our nation, the decision on who holds which office largely depends on the electorate.
We should make the right decision in order to have a better democratic Nigeria. Never vote because of political parties or religion, ethnicity. Vote a candidate that is ready to work for the betterment of the people by delivering the basic necessities of life. Moreover, the electoral umpire, Independent National Electoral Commission, must as a matter of urgency step up its voter education campaign to ensure a free, fair and credible electoral process.
