Taraba State Governor, Darius Ishaku, has reiterated his commitment towards ensuring the provision of good road network across the state.
He told newsmen in Jalingo, shortly after inspecting some roads in the state capital that the state government will commence construction of township roads to make the state capital more presentable.
Governor Darius said the project would be carried out in phases. He said provision of basic infrastructure, health care delivery and qualitative education are the cardinal objectives of his administration.
The governor promised to work with relevant stakeholders to ensure that permanent peace returns to every nook and cranny of the state.
“No society develops in an atmosphere of rancour, acrimony and social upheaval, therefore we must work together to resolve all lingering crisis in the state,” Darius said.
He called on people of the state to remain proactive and supportive to his administration’s ideals for progress and development.
