Taraba State Governor, Agbu Kefas, has assured the residents of Takum LGA of the government’s commitment to assist them in reconstructing their homes damaged by a recent windstorm.
The windstorm, accompanied by a heavy rainfall lasting over an hour on Tuesday, caused extensive damage to hundreds of houses and property worth millions of naira.
The governor visited Takum on Wednesday to assess the damage and assured residents that the government would aid in rebuilding their homes.

Kefas said he had taken proactive steps by dispatching a team of government officials to assess the affected areas and provide support to the victims.
