The District Head of Benye Maraban Donga, in Donga Local Government Area of Taraba State, Dwaseh Nahum Tigno has called for the deployment of more security operatives to his area to address insecurity.
He made the call in his palace during an interview with North East Trust, saying the call was necessary in order to ensure the security of lives and property of people in the community.

The monarch thanked the federal government for awarding the Maraban Donga-Donga road.
He said the entire community was happy over the commencement of the road project adding that the community has yearned for the road for many years.
He said the road is a short-cut from the southern part of the state to Plateau, Nasarawa and Bauchi States as well as the Federal Capital Territory.
Mr. Dwasen Nahum, however, said his community would continue to be vigilant in order to guard construction workers and their equipment working on the road project.
He urged youths in his domain to engage in viable ventures and shun all vices while appealing to the government to pay more attention to youth development.
Meanwhile, the Senator representing Taraba South Senatorial Zone, Senator Emmanuel Bwacha who initiated the Maraban Donga-Donga project, told North East Trust that the safety of workers handling the road project was a top priority to him and the community who have been yearning for the project.
He explained that the community that had agitated for the project for decades, would not allow anything to hamper its execution.
He said the area where the road project was sited suffered communal crisis and kidnappings and that was why meetings were held with all stakeholders in the community to find ways to safeguard the lives of construction workers and their equipment.
The lawmaker stated that the community had resolved to be more vigilant in order to get rid of criminal elements in the community.
He commended President Muhammadu Buhari for approving the award of the project.
