Taraba: Bauchi APC congratulates Alhassan

The Bauchi State chapter of the All Progressives Congress (APC) has congratulated Senator Aisha Jummai Alhassan on her victory at the election’s tribunal.
Senator Alhassan was the APC gubernatorial candidate in the last general election.
The party, through its Publicity Secretary, Auwal Jallah, said that “declaring Senator Alhassan as the winner of the governorship election is another plus and a hope that the judiciary is ready to uphold the tenets of democracy and the APC mantra of change and ensuring justice.”
Senator Alhassan had challenged the declaration of Darius Ishaku of the PDP as the winner of the 2015 Taraba State governorship election. Incidentally, she is now also a ministerial nominee of President Muhammadu Buhari and was recently cleared by the senate.
