Governor of Sokoto State and Chairman of the PDP Governors’ Forum, Aminu Waziri Tambuwal, has said Nigeria must strengthen its democratic structures to survive.
The governor also said manipulation of votes or election rigging was equal to coup d’état and urged relevant authorities in the country to play key roles that would end the trend.
Tambuwal made the statement on Tuesday to mark the 2020 International Day of Democracy.
