Tambuwal, Hassan debunk Facebook postings on killings

Governor Aminu Waziri Tambuwal of Sokoto State and the chairman, Buhari Support Organization (BSO), Alhaji Abdullahi Hassan, have dissociated themselves from postings on social media over the recent killings in the state. They said the postings were the handiwork of mischievous and unscrupulous politicians. The BSO chairman referred to a Facebook posting which accused Tambuwal of sponsoring the killings in order to tarnish the image of President Muhammadu Buhari. A statement from him said the posting was done by hackers. Another statement from the Director-General, Media and Public Affairs to the Governor, Alhaji Abubakar Shekara, said the posting merely sought to cast aspersions on Senator Aliyu Magatakarda Wamakko.
