Tambuwal, First Lady to launch Rep’s foundation in Abuja

Dorgu, who took over from Governor Seriake Dickson of Bayelsa, said in a statement in Abuja yesterday that the foundation was borne out of the need to directly alleviate the plights of the less privileged, widows, orphans and the physically challenged in the society.
She said the event will bring together, political stakeholders, captains of industry, and the diplomatic community among others including FCT Minister Senator, Bala Mohammed, Governor Henry Seriake Dickson of Bayelsa, his wife and His Royal Highness, Amalate Johnny Turner.
She said the foundation will be committed to enhancing the standard of living of Nigerians, especially women, children and the elderly through schemes and education opportunities.
She said the launch will also coincide with the celebration of her 65th birthday.
