Tambuwal cautions youths against violence

“No sane and patriotic person will sponsor youths or any group of persons to perpetrate violence and the breach of peace in the state and Nigeria in general,” he said during an interactive session with students of tertiary educational institutions drawn from across the state.
Tambuwal who is also the gubernatorial candidate of the APC in the state said: “I am therefore vehemently rejecting such obnoxious trends and dissociate myself and my party, the APC, from any acts of violence in any form.”
He pointed out that violence breeds retrogression and under-development and pledged to sustain the programmes and policies of Governor Aliyu Wamakko aimed at enhancing the living standard of the people.
Chairman of the occasion, Dr Ali Inname, who is the Special Adviser to Wamakko on ICT, said the forum was aimed at sensitising students and youths on the need to avoid violence and positively participate in the ongoing electoral processes. He stressed the need to sustain peace and stability in the country.
