Inuwa, who holds the traditional title of Talban Kano, would be buried today. In the 70s and 80s, he was among the top-ranking businessmen in the old Kano State.
Special Adviser to Kano State Governor on Emirate Affairs, Alhaji Tijjani Mailafia Sanka, confirmed the death. “He died today evening and he would be buried tomorrow (today) after funeral prayers at the Emir’s palace,” he said.
The late Inuwa is survived by many children, among whom is Alhaji  Auwalu Garba, a London-based businessman.
