Governor Nyesom Wike of Rivers State has told those abusing the hospitality of the Rivers people to take their secessionist agenda elsewhere.
Governor Wike gave the warning when the traditional rulers as well as political and opinion leaders of Ekpeye nationality paid a solidarity visit to him at Government House, Port Harcourt, on Tuesday.
The governor said his administration will leave no stone unturned to protect the state and its people against such persons who, he said, think they can annex the state by dragging it into their separatist agenda.
Leader of the delegation, Prof. Dulu Appah, said Ekpeye people are grateful to Governor Wike for the numerous development projects sited in the area.
