Speaking to Trustsports ahead of today’s week 5 encounter against Rangers who lost last weekend’s match 2-0 against Sunshine Stars, Mohammed said his team will use the match against Rangers to prove that its victory over Plateau United is not a fluke.

He said Rangers would like to win to atone for the defeat in the hands of Sunshine Stars but Zamfara United will not fold their hands and watch the three points taken away from them.

Mohammed said the victory over Plateau United will propel his boys to give Rangers a serious challenge for the maximum points.

The coach however acknowledged that it will be a big task to beat Rangers at home but in football anything can happen and so Rangers should not expect an easy victory.

He said Enugu fans like good football and are always ready to give support to the better side.

Mohammed said his boys will entertain the fans with good football and they will be compelled to make their support 50-50 for both teams.

“We are confident ahead of our match against Rangers. Enugu is like home to us.  Enugu fans like good football and are always willing to support any club that gives them value for their money.

“It is going to be a big task considering the fact that Rangers lost against Sunshine and would like to use us to compensate their fans. We have this at the back of our mind but the three points is what we are aiming at.

“In football, anything can happen. We have no injury problems and the players are high spirit. Although we have lost our central defender to injury, we have another replacement that will also do a good job.

He urged his players to put in their best if they are to come out with a favourable result in today’s match.

“My players know what it means to play an away match. They are ready and if they win, they know what awaits them from the management of the club”.
