One of the waste contractors in the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), Laurmann and Company Limited, has tasked worship centres in the Central Business District (CBD) on the need for good sanitary condition.
The managing director of Laurmann, Mr. Laurie Manayin, said this while donating eight 240 litres waste bins to the National Mosque and National Ecumenical Centre, both in Abuja.
He said the donation was part of the company’s effort to ensure that the district became an epitome of beauty in the territory.
“We will keep on enlightening them and we have already discussed with them to inform their cleaners not to dump waste on the ground but inside the waste bins,” he said.
He added that the company would stop at nothing in ensuring that waste was timely evacuated and the environment kept clean.
