A former governorship candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in Abia State, Chief Marc Wabara, has denied issuing quit notice to Senator Eyinnaya Abaribe, the senator representing Abia South Senatorial District.
Wabara, a former bank chief executive, and younger brother of a former Senate president, Chief Adolphus Wabara, who is now the leader of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Ukwa Federal Constituency, said rather, what he said during his formal declaration to contest for Abia South senatorial seat, was that if voted for in 2019, he would ensure that his people received the dividends of democracy that eluded them for 16 years.
