As part of measures to consolidate his position, the factional chairman of the Inter Party Advisory Council (IPAC), Chief Peter Ameh, yesterday, in Abuja constituted the technical and standing strategy committees, charging the members to enforce the agency’s code of conduct.
This followed the resolution of the general assembly meeting after August 25 swearing-in of Ameh by the former chairman, Dr. Yunusa Tanko, in Abuja.
The National Chairman of the Labour Party (LP), Alhaji Abdulkadir Abdulsalam, was appointed as the chairman of the standing strategy committee, with the national chairman of the All Progressive Grand Alliance (APGA), Dr. Victor Oye, as a member.
Other members of the committee included Barrister Benjamin Emeka Igwe of Peoples Democratic Congress (PDC), Senator Mojisoluwa Akinfenwa of Alliance for Democracy (AD), Onwe S. Onwe of Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) and Oluwadare Falade of MPPP.
Chief Ralph Nwosu, the national chairman of African Democratic Congress (ADC), was appointed to head the technical committee.
Others members of the committee included Alhaji Ganiyu Galadima, the national chairman of ACPN, Manga s. Asha of ACD, Rev. Olusegun Peters of DRC, Senator Tunde Anifowose Kelani of Action Alliance (AA), Abdullahi Dan Azumi of DPP and Idris Adamu of NCP.
