Anglo-Nigerian defender Fikayo Tomori has congratulated Super Eagles player Ola Aina who scored his first professional goal as Hull City edged Blackburn Rovers in the English FA Cup on Sunday.
Tomori, who reunited with Aina at Hull after the pair were sent there on loan by Chelsea, took to twitter to congratulate his teammate even joking that the two capped Eagles player reached the milestone before him.
“Into the hat for the next round, Ola Aina with his first goal, wow he scored before me, congrats bro,” the player wrote.
Parent club Chelsea also sent in their congratulations via twitter after the player himself posted some words after his achievement was recorded.
The former England U-19 skipper achieved the feat in the 58th minute of Hull City’s 1-0 win over Blackburn Rovers in the Emirates FA Cup on Saturday, January 6.
Aina overcame an injury scare to thump home a towering header which was enough to give Hull City a win.
The Nigerian put an end to a thirty-match and 2,417 minutes goal drought with his headed goal against an in-form Blackburn Rovers side.
