The Buhari Support Group Centre has congratulated President Muhammadu Buhari on his re-election.
The Director General of the organization, Umaru Dembo, in a statement made available to Daily Trust on Sunday, also thanked Nigerians for voting for candidates of the All Progressives Congress (APC).
“I am not thanking only our members nationwide for their participation in the election exercise, but all Nigerians who threw their weight behind Buhari,” he said.
He also called on the PDP presidential candidate, Alhaji Atiku Abubakar, to accept the outcome of the elections and concede defeat, “as both domestic and international observers have agreed that the elections were conducted in a free and fair manner”.
