Late Shehu of Dikwa, Borno State, Alhaji Mohammed Ibn Masta II El-Kanemi who died on Saturday, has been buried at the Shehu’s Palace in Maiduguri, on Sunday.
Governor Babagana Zulum , Shehu of Borno, Alhaji Abubakar Ibn Umar Garbai Al-Amin El-Kanemi alongside many other emirs and important personalities attended the burial which held at 10am.
The late Shehu received medical treatment at a hospital in Abuja where he died.
The death was announced by the Secretary to State Government, Alhaji Usman Jidda Shuwa in Biu, shortly after presentation of staff of office to the Emir of Biu, Alhaji Mai Mustapha Umar Mustapha by Governor Zulum .
The burial was earlier scheduled for 5pm in Maiduguri on Saturday.
