Students of Government Day Secondary School (GDSS) and Mandate Secondary School, both in Adeta, Ilorin West LGA of Kwara State reportedly clashed over “supremacy”.

The clash, it was gathered, left some people injured with vehicles and tricycles destroyed.

A student of the GDSS said, “There is a longtime disagreement between both schools which share the same compound but separated by a fence. The issue escalated after exams.”

A teacher in one of the schools told our correspondent that, “Tension built up between them before their examinations which was concluded on Thursday, which has been the routine yearly.
