Sarkin Ban Kano and District Head of Dambatta local government council of Kano State, Alhaji Mukhtar Adnan, has declared his support to President Muhammadu Buhari’s ongoing fight against corruption.
Adnan, a respected member of the Kano Emirate Council and community leader who made the remarks at a reception organized for Professor Umar Garba Dambatta, also said the fight would lead to a better society.
Professor Dambatta was appointed by Buhari as the Vice Chairman of the National Communications Commission (NCC).
He advised the professor to “work tirelessly for the development of humanity” and urged the People of Dambatta and Makoda local government areas to pray for the success of the celebrant in discharging his responsibilities.
Also Speaking the District head of Makoda, Alhaji Wada Waziri described Dambatta as a humble and resourceful person, adding that President Buhari had made a wise choice by selecting the professor for the appointment.
