Ahead of festivities billed for the Christmas celebration, Saint Cecilia Choir of the Holy Family Catholic Church, Lifecamp, performed its carol in form of hymns and Choruses in Abuja during the week..
The event, which was held at the residence of Mr. Mike Kelikume, Managing Director of Abuja-based Laramitch Vigor Consults Limited went through the various hymns rendered, preached the need for Christians to have a deeper understanding and the truth of the spirituality surrounding the birth of Christ.
According to Kelikume, it was also a time of merriment, recounting God’s blessings and thanking Him for His unending grace as he expressed gratitude to God for his blessings.
Engineer Emmanuel Omamuyuoweh, chairman of the choir said he felt fulfilled by the expression of the congregation, as they enjoyed and participated in the singing.
A Bible reading was also taken from Isaiah 35 verse 1-10 which reflects on the glory of the Lord, His wonders, how He stands for His people in trying times and most importantly His unending grace.
