A health worker, Mrs. Kassim, identified the intrusion of the snakes among the challenges debarring the health workers from using the centre at nights and said residents frequent Suleja during emergency at nights.
The healthcare centre, she added, needs to be fenced in order to curb the snakes and ensure the safety of health personnel.
She also identified poor staff strength as among the challenges of the centre. According to her, the centre has three staff, a mid-wife, laboratory technician and a medical doctor, whom are all on contract with the MDGs till 2015.
