Regional alliance against Boko Haram will fail – Shekau

He said the coming together of neighbouring countries to assist Nigeria against the group would not succeed.
Shekau chided President Idriss Deby of Chad who recently deployed 2,500 troops to Nigeria’s border with Cameroon to fight his sect.
The troops have reportedly liberated towns and villages neighbouring Niger in northern part of Borno State which include Gamboru, Mallam Fatori and Abadam among others.
Dressed in military fatigue and flanked by armed men, Shekau, speaking  in Arabic, takes a swipe at France, Britain, Israel and the United States for  their support to the fight against his group.
 He describes his attacks on sovereign territories as a crusade aimed at establishing strict Islamic Sharia law.
Shekau says he will keep attacking and killing until democracy is frustrated and Islam is entrenched not only in Nigeria but also in neighbouring countries.
In the second video titled; “Life in new Caliphate” armed are shown punishing “offenders” as two young men are whipped for alleged adultery, another’s right hand is amputated for alleged stealing and the third is stoned to death for alleged fornication.
The third video titled “Invasion of Damaturu”, shows  what transpired in Yobe State on  December 1, 2014 when hundreds of insurgents led by an armoured personnel carrier drove through Gujba road in a convoy of Hilux vehicles and motorcycles and later appeared in front of the Government House along Maiduguri where an exchange of gunshots ensured before they got access into the premises.
