Reacting, the APGA chairman in Gwagwalada Area Council, Eng. Solomon I. Umuezuruike, said there is was no faction among members of the party in the area, saying the validly elected candidate of the party that emerged at its primaries is Alhaji Adamu Mustapha.
He said the party conducted its chairmanship primaries in line with the INEC guideline at the council on 15 December, 2015, which he said was supervised by INEC, national and state officials of the party, including security agents.
“Let me make it categorically clear here that the said Saidu Garba, was never a member of our party APGA. I believe what he is trying to do is like a medicine after death. So the validly elected candidate of Gwagwalada Area Council under APGA is nobody than the chairman – elect, Alhaji Adamu Mustapha,” he said.
