Reverend Emmanuel Matthew of the Emmabeth Choice Academy, Mpape, was alleged to have induced and assaulted three girls aged between 7 and 9 years.
Police prosecutor Stanley Nwodo said the offences, which are punishable under section 283 of the penal code, were committed in March, 2012.
Following the denial of the five count charges by the accused person, his counsel, U.M. Yamah, applied for his bail.
Justice Hussein Baba Yusuf granted the application and ordered the accused person to produce a surety in the sum of N500,000 bond. The judge further directed that the surety, who must be a civil servant, must be resident in the FCT. He adjourned the case to January 21, 2014 for hearing.
