Apparently and according to early reports pointed throwing this year, the British magazine Car Magazine, the new Porsche Boxster has grown minimally in length (+37 mm) and hardest battle has increased (+60 mm), further reducing the overhangs, especially the front overhang (-25 mm). Its height has also been reduced (-10mm). The reason for this change would increase stability and of course the cargo space and comfort of this two-seater cabin.
A small, minimalist integrated spoiler would have been based on two groups of rear lights and partly also reminding the aesthetics of the new Porsche 911. In the rear too, the diffuser split in two has given way to a still retaining full exhaust outlets focused action.
The four-cylinder engines will not arrive in time for the 2012 model. No less important will not change the mechanics will come that will be offered for the range Porsche Boxster. The expected four-cylinder engine is not likely to arrive in time for this first generation gap and is likely to have to wait until the first update, for that would have to wait at least another three or four years.
At the moment the next Porsche Boxster will continue its six-cylinder boxer engines. The basic Boxster will host the new 2.7-liter, around 265 hp and 280 Nm, and the Boxster S will feature a 3.4-liter and 315 hp. With PDK and all the improvements that will accompany you presumably get down to 5 seconds in the 0 to 100 km / h.
At least appreciation some few changes and some more for the Porsche Boxster 2012 will contribute to your craving.
