A serving police corporal has been arrested for raping a 7-year-old girl in Brigade quarters of Kano metropolis, Daily Trust has gathered.
Our correspondent says the cop who had the carnal knowledge of the minor on Wednesday has been arrested and he is now in detention.
The spokesperson of the Kano police command, ASP Magaji Musa Majia confirmed the report, saying a statement would be issued to the effect.
