One of the officers, Ishaku Kwambla Hamman, was decorated as a Superintendent while 10 were decorated as deputy superintendents.
Among those decorated was the Command’s spokesman, Joseph Kwaji, who was promoted from Assistant Superintendent to Deputy Superintendent (DSP).
Others decorated with ranks of deputy superintendent included Wee Dee, John Holt Samaila, Thekman Elias, Emmanuel Ossayoji, Yohanna Ayuba, Yohanna, Holman Saleh, Victor Jude, Victor Allahmagani and Mohammed Dahuwa.
Performing the ceremony at the Command’s headquarters, Jatau charged the officers to show high level of maturity and sense of responsibility in their new positions.
He urged them to serve as role models and promote good image of the force wherever they would be posted.
Responding on behalf of the officers, Superintendent Ishaku Hamman thanked the Inspector General of Police, Solomon Arase, for approving their promotions and promised that they would give their best in the discharge of their duties.
