In support to the police to discharge its task of protecting lives and property, the Platinum Mortgage Bank Ltd (PMBL), one of the primary mortgage institutions in Nigeria has donated a state-of-the-art police station and a patrol van to the police in Karu, Nasarawa State.
The police station is situated in Becky Gardens Estate in Karu, developed by PMBL.
While passing the police station to the police last week, the Managing Director of PMBL  Emmanuel Ndubuisi Mbaka reiterated the policy of the bank, which is making security a priority in its housing delivery initiatives.
According to him, PMBL has so far donated six police stations to the police in Abuja, Owerri and Abia State.
He called on the police not to relent in their fight against crime and protection of lives and property.
The Commissioner of Police, Nasarawa State, Sani Mohammed who was represented by the Deputy Commissioner of Police Paul Garba appreciated the management of PMBL for the support of their activities.
He promised that the policemen that will be deployed to the station will ensure the safety of occupants of Becky Estate and its environs.
He called on all well meaning Nigerians and organizations to emulate the gesture by PMBL.
