The Chief of Defense Staff, Gen. Abayomi Olonisakin has arrived Maiduguri to review military operations in the wake of recent incessant attacks by insurgents claimed over 50 people in the region.
Olonisakan was accompanied by representatives of COAS, CAS and other top military officers to visit Theater Command of Lafiya Dole Maiduguri on Wednesday.
Theater Commander, Maj. Gen. Ibrahim Attahiru who received CDS and his entourage will be briefing CDS on operations in the entire theater.
“We are having midst this morning Chief of Defense staff on operational visit, we are going to briefs him ongoing operations and to provides solutions to our problems." He said.
It would be recalled that scores were killed in separate attacks in Numan- Mubi in Adamawa state.
